Forgive

I have not written an article in a while, I’ve been a little busy trying
to put a couple of things together. I had a little get together on my
birthday (1st October) and am working on CV bank, a project that
I’ll throw more light on in a couple of days. I thank God for yet
another year and I also thank all those who were able to make it and
either sent a message or a gift. I really appreciate it.

I was discussing yesterday at a chapter of the Daystar home fellowship
with my cell group. A very interesting topic that really got a lot of
reactions from the house. The main topic of discussion was the benefits
of our covenant with God while the controversial sub topic was
Unforgiveness as a hindrance to our receiving the benefits of our
covenant with God. Continue Reading »

Novella

A woman came out of her house and saw 3 old men with long white
beards sitting in her front yard. She did not recognize them. She said
“I don’t think I know you, but you must be hungry. Please come in
and have something to eat.”

“Is the man of the house home?”, they asked. “No”, she replied. “He’s
out.” “Then we cannot come in”, they replied. In the evening when her
husband came home, she told him what had happened. “Go tell them I
am home and invite them in”. The woman went out and invited the men
in. “We do not go into a House together” they replied. “Why is that?”
she asked. Continue Reading »

Loyalty and Trust

Faithfulness to a course, unwavering dedication and support
will ensure that a project is completed. More importantly,
relationships must be taken into consideration in every project.
The place of loyalty and trust in a relationship cannot be over
emphasized.

At every point in time, we look for someone we can confide
in. This could be a member of our family, a friend or a mentor.
We need someone we can trust, someone who is loyal and
will not give us up or turn against us. This one person knows
a lot about us and because of the trust we have in that
person, he is obligated to watch our back and be our trusted
or loyal companion. Continue Reading »

Pirates

I was in a training over the weekend on Shaped Cd. I learnt
a lot about how Cd’s are made and how they can be
transformed into different shapes to make it unique and a lot
more attractive. There’s a lot that can be done with shaped
Cd’s. From company proposal to concert tickets. The
possibilities are limitless and can only be hindered by the limits
we place on it.

A very key area in Cd production was brought to my
awareness or rather I was reminded of it. It has always been
one of the things I strongly stand against and think everyone
should. It amazes me how people will want to make a living
from stealing and not feel bothered in any way. Continue Reading »

If There’s a Will, There’s a Way

I watched an amazing 5 minute video today. Believe me,
those five minutes were so inspiring that you could write a
book about it. It was a video about a woman without arms.
She is married to a man who I believe loves her just the way
she is and guess what….she has a child.

The first thought that came to my mind was that, what does
her husband think about her. He loves her and says she’s
very beautiful and determined. Then the next question was,
how will she raise a child without arms? Well as I watched
this was quickly answered. Continue Reading »

The GTBank Job

ph_concepts_symbols_000017_display1.jpg

A week ago, I went to the bank to make a transaction. I
sell e-currencies as an extra source of passive income. On getting
to the bank, I was alerted of a transaction that needed my
attention. Two days earlier I had sold some e-gold through a
colleague and the transfer of the e-gold was made after I had
confirmed payment to my account from an Abarugo Ikechukwu
Udodirim.

I was told that my attention was needed in another branch. I
immediately followed the banking officer and on getting there,
I was told that someone alerted the bank that he got alerts on
his phone of a transaction he did not authorize from his account
to my account. I was amazed, the first thing that came to my
mind was that, how do you make a third party transfer in
GTBank without going to the bank physically. Continue Reading »

The Big Cheese

It was the annual general meeting and induction for all sales
executive of the company. It was a mixture of both the old
school and the new recruits who had just been taken into the
company as sales executives. It was an exciting atmosphere
as the young sales executives had the opportunity to hear and
learn from the older ones.

There was also something special about this meeting. A man
considered as the greatest sales man ever, having consistently
had the highest sales for the past 20 years, the “big cheese”
was going to speak. There was excitement in the air. Everyone
was eager to hear what he was going to say. Continue Reading »

Living Right

“To thine own self be true, and it must follow, as the night the
day, thou canst not then be false to any man.”
William Shakespeare

I can remember in October 1999 when I was writing my G.C.E
in Warri, Delta State. I had finished my S.S.C.E in June and
was still waiting for my result so I decided to write the GCE
to keep myself busy. I had written one in 1998 and made 4
papers so all I needed was mathematics to be able to get into
university with a good jamb score. Continue Reading »

180 Degrees

You don’t have to go 360 degrees all you need is 180 degrees.
A full turn around will take you back to the same direction. You
don’t have to climb to the top of Mount Everest to find what
you are looking for, the answers you seek are within you. All
you need is to open your eyes to the world around you and it
will amaze you how close by your answers are.

A man got to a restaurant and saw a sign that read, “eat all you
can, your grandfather has paid”. On seeing this, he was so
excited and wondered if this was for real. He then started
ordering for everything he could eat. After several rounds of food
and assorted meat he was finally through. He stood up to leave
and he was stopped at the door. Continue Reading »

Take Responsibility

Let me start by thanking God and everyone who has played
a role in making me who I am today. My family and my dear
friends and most especially my mother. If it was not for you,
there will be no me. I will also like to apologize for the wrong
things I have done in the past. For everyone I have hurt,
especially those who have given their all so that I can be who
I am today.

I have learnt a lot in the past few days that I will like to share
with you. You will find out that it’s the little things that really
cause the big earthquakes. The butterfly effect which shows a
scenario where just by the flapping of the wings of a butterfly
in Africa, a chain reaction is put in motion which causes an
earthquake somewhere in Europe. I will share a few of these
things in the next few lines. Continue Reading »
