It may be called a global recession but I see it as a major opportunity for us. It is also a time for us to learn vital lessons to avoid similar occurrence in future. For instance, the financial houses should become more responsible with depositor’s fund, avoid any form of exploitation in the name of hidden charges (as it will encourage prompt payment of loan) and sustain the confidence reposed on them by the populace. As Nigerian’s, we should be positive about our economy and even our stock market. More importantly, we should seek mediums to diversify our economy. There should be emphasis on wealth creation and not poverty alleviation. Besides, extending loans and grants to such bedevilled countries is not a bad idea. This is the time and we have the money, a friend of mine, his father is also planning to by properties, Nigeria could even go ahead give money in form of loans to these falling economies, lets look at all of this from a positive view.
