I read a couple of interesting articles and mails today. I will
like to share some of them here. They really helped me a lot
to see things differently. There’s so much we can learn and I
highlighted a few lines.

“That is the power of suggestion. We naturally move toward
whatever we focus our attention on. The more you think about
something, the stronger it takes hold of you.”

This is quite straight forward and simple. If you focus your
attention or keep repeating to yourself the things you do not
want, then that’s what you will constantly get. If you rather
focus on the things you want, you will definitely get them. Lets
assume you keep telling yourself, “I don’t want to get to work
late”. Your mind is focussed on getting there late so things will
work in the direction of what you are thinking. However if you
tell yourself, “I will get to work early”. Everything will work in
the direction of making you get to work early.

“Temptation begins by capturing your attention. What gets your
attention arouses your emotions. Then your emotions activate
your behavior, and you act on what you felt. The more you
focus on “I don’t want to do this,” the stronger it draws you into
its web.”

“The battle for sin is won or lost in your mind. Whatever gets
your attention will get you. That’s why Job said, “I made a
covenant with my eyes not to look with lust upon a young
woman.”

Everything we do, we first think about it in our minds. The
mind is the control center. Everything we think or do starts
from our mind. The eye sees and then sends the images to
our mind where deliberations are made. What you do from
here is your decision. You have a choice to do the right thing
or the wrong thing.

“People Change but God’s love stays the same.”

If God blesses you along the way, do not forget to give thanks
and praise. It’s only His love that blesses us through our days.
Do not listen to what people say, God’s love is here to stay.
Seek him first and everything will come after, do not get
caught up in a Babylon disaster.

I have summed up my thoughts for the day with giving thanks
to God. He strengthens us to do all things.
