Co-Operation
There has been a gradual disappearance of the middle class in our
society. Years of military rule made the gap between the
rich and the poor increase. The need for a sustainable level
of income that can enable the average Nigerian survive is
therefore necessary to make life easier for everyone.
Lets assume now that majority of Nigerian’s earn income that
will sustain them and their families, there is therefore a need
for financial intelligence to be able to manage these resources.
No matter how much you earn, your expenses will always rise
to meet your income if you do not have sufficient financial
education.
Financial Intelligence will include a very vital knowledge. We
need to develop a saving culture. Saving as little as 10% from
what you earn will go a long way in helping you maximize your
earning potentials. Without the discipline of saving a little every
month, how then can you take advantage of the opportunities
that are available to you. It is therefore inevitable to set aside
a part of what you earn to be able to take advantage of
opportunities.
Talking about opportunities, there are certain opportunities
that come up that we would love to be part of. However the
cost is sometimes out of our reach. This does not mean that
we did not save enough or were not financially literate, the
opportunities are just too big for one person to handle. In such
cases what will be the right step to take?
Nigeria has one of the strongest social cultures in the world.
The bond between us is one of a kind. Our extended family
circles, friends from schools, neighbors and acquaintances all
make up a large and untapped social network which can be
used to great advantage.
Becoming a part of a social network and also a co-operative
will go a long way in helping individuals take part in big deals
which are only available to big corporations. A group of
individuals who share the same financial values and are working
towards achieving a desired financial goal can come together
and form a co-operative or investment club.
This will give them the opportunity to come together and pool
their resources together in order to take advantage of
opportunities that will normally be unavailable to them as
individuals. As a team, they will make better investment
decisions and therefore make better returns at the end of the
year.
The future will not be about big corporations but about small
groups and teams working together to make big things happen.

Yeah!great insight at least am begining to get ideas. Thanks
