In the beginning when the Almighty was creating the nations
of the world, He made it imperative for the nations to rely on
him. He therefore gave them a handicap so that they will
always come back to him for help and remember their creator.
He made it clear that He will not respect any one or any nation.

When He was creating the United States and California in
particular, He gave them a little earthquake so that when they
are getting high on their Oscars and Emmy awards He will
shake them a little and they will remember Him. He
also gave the coastal regions tsunami’s to shake them up a
little and bring them back to Him.

To the Philippines, He gave mud slides, the Chinese with their
great numbers that nearly doubles all the time he gave floods.
He did this all through the nations, Every great nation with a
handicap.

He then started a project, a masterpiece that got the angels
wondering. The topography of the land was like a Pablo
Picasso painting, flawless in every area. The climate was so
conducive that the variation between the hottest and the
coldest seasons did not exceed 12 degrees centigrades. Over
50% of it’s land was arable land which made it possible to grow
almost anything within its borders.

The rivers where clean, not rushing too fast and you could drink
from them and not be harmed. 34 different mineral resources or
more where poured into its soil ranging from crude oil, tin, iron ore
coal and other precious metals. The vegetation was beautiful and
the angels began wondering. They reminded the almighty that He
was no respecter of persons. They had looked at the American
project, the Chinese project, the Philippine project, and they
wanted to know what this master project without flaws will be
called.

And the Almighty said, “NIGERIA”. What a name, what a
nation. The angels inquired and said, “How can you create a
land so perfect that you even gave them a national anthem that
if You would answer it, the land will be heaven on earth. Who
will live there? How have you given this nation so much and
all other nations have a handicap. And the Almighty said,”wait
till I create the people that will leave there”.

What is our limitation? We have a people problem. A nation
that has every natural resource it needs to be the greatest and
most influential in the world yet a great percentage is leaving
in abject poverty and lack the basic necessities of life. Where
the rich is getting richer and the poor is getting poorer.

Some say its impossible, nothing good can come out of this nation,
and the smallest opportunity they have, they run away in search of
greener pastures. We all dream of the day when all will be well
with us. Guess what……that day has come. The light can be seen.
Its a new day in the history of our nation. Nigeria is reclaiming its
glory. For those who are positive, they will notice the changes, while
those that are pessimistic will only see it when we are undoubtedly
the most desirable nation to live in.

Hope is like a road in the country; there was never a road, but
when many people walk on it, the road comes into existence.
I believe in Nigeria and I believe that this nation will undoubtedly
be the most desirable nation to live in. I hope that posterity will
judge me kindly, not only as to the things which I have explained,
but also to those which I have omitted so as to leave to others the
pleasure of discovery.
